On a scale of 1-10, tell me how comfortable you feel with the following analogy and question:
If voters are to employers as Councillors (and the Mayor) are to employees (after all, 'they're' working for 'us'), how much sense does it make that often many are, nearing the end of the 'contract' feeling as if they've been pushed aside, ignored and generally usurped?

I totally agree that City officials should devote themselves to serve our communities. And I do agree with the analogy above mentioned. I also believe that should be a mechanism for the employer (the voters) to fire the employee (the city official) at any time.
